Patios and outdoor dining in Coral Springs: University Drive

Every patio on this list is on North University Drive. Four sit in the restaurant row between Atlantic Boulevard and Royal Palm Boulevard, around the Coral Square mall, and one, Tap 42, is downtown near Sample Road. Many more restaurants may have a few outdoor tables; this list only includes places that say so on their own sites.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Coral Springs city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 8, 2026. A restaurant is listed only if its own site mentions a patio or outdoor dining; we added First Watch, Miller’s Ale House, Outback Steakhouse and Tap 42 that way. We left out two places tagged with outdoor seating in OpenStreetMap whose own sites do not mention it, and places where only a customer review does. The list is alphabetical. The places

Bonefish Grill is the seafood chain’s Coral Springs restaurant. Its location page lists outdoor dining, reservations, curbside pickup and catering.

First Watch serves breakfast, brunch and lunch until 2:30 p.m. Its location page mentions an outdoor patio, along with an online waitlist, takeout and delivery.

Miller’s Ale House is a sports bar and restaurant. Its location page invites guests to “grab a spot on our open-air patio or in our spacious dining area,” and the menu runs from wings to steak and seafood.

Outback Steakhouse is the steakhouse chain’s Coral Springs restaurant. Its location page lists outdoor dining, curbside takeaway, delivery and a happy hour.

Tap 42 Craft Kitchen + Bar is on the ground floor of University Place at City Center, across University Drive from The Walk. It has a covered, string-lit patio, a weekday happy hour at the bar and a bottomless brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. City Hall’s free garage at 9500 W. Sample Road is a short walk away.
