Where to get burgers in Coral Springs: sports bars to drive-thrus

Burgers in Coral Springs cluster on University Drive, from the fast-food row near Atlantic Boulevard north past downtown, and on the State Road 7 and Sample Road shopping centers in the east of the city. Three sports bars and grills on this list serve burgers at a table; the rest are burger shops and drive-thrus.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Coral Springs city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 8, 2026. We added MTB, Miller’s Ale House, Sonic, Tap 42 and more Burger King and McDonald’s stores from the state’s restaurant inspection records and the restaurants’ own sites. Several chain sites would not open for us; for those, the table points to the chain’s location page for hours. We left out a burger chain store with no recent state record. The list is alphabetical. Burger King has two stores in the city, on North University Drive and West Sample Road, both inspected by the state in September 2026.

BurgerFi is on North University Drive, south of Sample Road. The chain’s location finder has its hours.

Lefty’s Tavern and Grille in The Shoppes at Heron Lakes is a pub and family restaurant. Its burgers are made with certified Angus beef and served with a choice of side, and the menu has a patty melt alongside the hamburger and cheeseburger.

McDonald’s has four stores in Coral Springs, on North University Drive, Wiles Road, West Sample Road and Coral Ridge Drive. Hours for each are on the chain’s location pages.

Miller’s Ale House on University Drive has a burgers and sandwiches section on its menu and an open-air patio, according to its location page.

MTB, listed under the Marco’s name in the state’s records, makes handcrafted Brazilian-style burgers and has been in South Florida since 2018, according to its site. The menu includes the X-Tudo, a smash burger and a Philly burger, with a weekday lunch special from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It offers pickup and delivery.

Steak ‘n Shake is on North State Road 7. The chain’s location finder has its hours.

Tap 42 Craft Kitchen + Bar is on the ground floor of University Place at City Center, downtown. Its burgers include The Prohibition, The Big Smash and The Drunken Goat, and it runs a Monday Night Burger Bash from 4 p.m. It has a covered patio.

Wendy’s has two stores, on North University Drive and West Sample Road. Each location page lists breakfast and a drive-thru.
