How admission works
From the school’s lottery process page:
- Eagles’ Nest Middle and Panacea Prep have an open admissions policy: all applicants are accepted until the school reaches capacity.
- Once applications exceed capacity, students go on a waiting list and a random lottery is used, so every student has an equal chance.
- The registration page says both schools are accepting applications. Families complete the registration packet in person, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, with a birth certificate, two proofs of residency, a physical, a shot record and, for older students, the last report card and FAST scores.
Enrollment
- District count: 46 students on Aug. 21, 2026, the 10th day of the 2026-27 school year, one fewer than on the same day in 2025, according to the district’s Tenth Day Enrollment Count.
- Federal count: 57 students in the 2023-24 school year, according to the NCES directory, which does not report a teacher count for the school.
