How admission works

From the school’s enrollment page:

  • The school is open to any student who lives in Broward County.
  • Open enrollment for the 2026-27 school year ran Nov. 3 to Dec. 3, 2025, for all grades, 6 to 12.
  • If a grade has more applications than seats, a computer-generated random lottery decides who is admitted. Applications after the window are taken first come, first served, and go on a waitlist in the order received if a lottery was needed. Waitlists do not carry over to the next year.
  • Preference goes to Charter Schools USA employees, City of Coral Springs employees, siblings of current students, children of active-duty members of the armed forces and Coral Springs residents, as state law allows.

Enrollment and teachers

  • District count: 1,751 students on Aug. 21, 2026, the 10th day of the 2026-27 school year, 780 in grades 6 to 8 and 971 in grades 9 to 12. That is 18 fewer than on the same day in 2025, according to the district’s Tenth Day Enrollment Count.
  • Federal count: 1,743 students in the 2023-24 school year, with 98 full-time-equivalent teachers, according to the NCES directory. That works out to about 18 students per teacher.

State report card

Charter schools get the same A to F grade as district schools. A school’s grade is the share of possible points it earns on state test results, learning gains and, for schools with high school grades, the graduation rate and college and career acceleration. The state’s 2026 file sets an A for a combination school like this one at 65% of points or more.

School year Grade
2025-26 A (76% of possible points)
2024-25 A
2023-24 A

From the state’s 2026 school grades file, the share of students scoring on grade level on the state tests in 2025-26:

  • English language arts: 78%
  • Math: 75%
  • Science: 73%
  • Social studies: 90%
  • Graduation rate (2024-25): 100%
  • College and career acceleration (2024-25): 99% of graduates

The full report card is on the state’s Florida school report cards site. The principal’s greeting says the school has been an A school for 20 years.
