Florida law allows consumer fireworks on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Independence Day, under section 791.08 of the Florida Statutes. That does not override a recorded homeowners association covenant that bans them, so check your HOA rules first.

  • Call 911 for a fire or injury, and 954-344-1800 to report fireworks or noise that is not an emergency.
